Carrie Lee, LPC Associate

supervised by Amy Lyles, LPC-S, RPT-S

You don’t have to carry this all on your own.

I’m an LPC Associate based out of Wimberley, TX and I work with adults, teens and young children. I’m a wife, a mom, and I’ve been a nurse for 20 plus years prior to becoming a counselor! My work as a nurse, really led me to see the connection between our physical and mental health. I approach therapy in a holistic way using a variety of interventions to heal and integrate the mind, body and spirit. I believe we are meant to thrive, not just survive the day, and I work with clients to uncover what that means for them individually.

I’m here to help with…

  • Anxiety

  • Trauma

  • Relationships

  • Life Transitions

  • Compassion Fatigue & Burn Out

  • Grief & Loss

  • Self-esteem

  • Depression

I strive to provide a safe space for authentic healing…

inspired by the poem Wild Geese by Mary Oliver

You do not have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees
for a hundred miles through the desert repenting.
You only have to let the soft animal of your body
love what it loves.
Tell me about despair, yours, and I will tell you mine.
Meanwhile the world goes on.
Meanwhile the sun and the clear pebbles of the rain
are moving across the landscapes,
over the prairies and the deep trees,
the mountains and the rivers.
Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air,
are heading home again.
Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting –
over and over announcing your place
in the family of things.
